Flight Training

New hire training lasts approximately 6–7 weeks and covers the CRJ or E175 aircraft platforms.

Applicants must have passed the ATP written. If not yet completed, SkyWest offers a SkyWest-approved CTP course to help applicants qualify. In addition, those with previous FAR Part 121 experience can receive industry experience credit, allowing for year-for-year pay matching up to 10 years.

SkyWest also offers a Pilot Pathway Program for cadets still in flight school. Benefits include:
