Hiring

UPS Airlines is currently hiring pilots and continues to be an attractive destination for experienced aviators seeking long-term stability, excellent compensation, and comprehensive benefits. The company’s ongoing fleet expansion—combined with an anticipated wave of pilot retirements—has created significant demand for new flight crew members across multiple aircraft types.

In 2024, UPS hired 289 pilots, with monthly training classes scheduled throughout the year and next. This trend is expected to continue as the airline grows its domestic and international operations. UPS offers candidates a smooth hiring and onboarding experience, including the assignment of a class date at the time a contingent job offer is extended. This ensures minimal downtime and clarity for transitioning pilots.

New hires benefit from industry-leading pay and receive company-paid hotel accommodations for the entire duration of training. Medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as long-term and short-term disability coverage, are effective on Day 1 of employment—reflecting UPS’s commitment to supporting its flight crew both professionally and personally from the very start.

The company values professionalism, teamwork, and leadership, seeking pilots who not only meet technical qualifications but who align with UPS’s mission to provide reliable, time-definite global logistics solutions.
