AeroGuard Flight Training Center is actively hiring Certified Flight Instructors across its locations in Phoenix–Deer Valley (DVT), Chandler (CHD), and Georgetown, Texas (GTU). Candidates must hold a Commercial certificate with CFI and CFII ratings; MEI is highly preferred. Starting pay begins at $28 per hour, with the opportunity to earn $34 per hour upon acceptance into AeroGuard’s Cathay Instructor Pathway Program. Instructors benefit from operating in a structured Part 141 environment with access to accelerated time-building, company-owned aircraft, and established partnerships with major and international carriers like SkyWest Airlines and Cathay Pacific. AeroGuard also supports instructors through Post-9/11 GI Bill® eligibility and available financing options.
Fleet expansion: 90 new Piper aircraft on order, set to boost the fleet beyond 200 trainers.
Pathway growth: Newly launched Cathay Instructor Pathway raises top-scale instructor pay to $34/hr and offers a direct bridge to Cathay Pacific.
Student demand: Enrollments now exceed 800 pilots per year, reflecting record global pilot hiring.
Founded in 1999, AeroGuard Flight Training Center has graduated more than 7,000 commercial pilots. The school delivers accelerated Part 141 and Part 61 curricula with a focus on airline-style professionalism, supported by partnerships with SkyWest Airlines and multiple overseas carriers.
